It is not known from where the first humans came. The Clovis culture most likely came over the Bering Strait via a land bridge, but since it's clear they weren't the first human, other possibilities have to be considered. The theory that the people in Monte Verde came by boats from Asia and along the coastline of America is considered the most likely theory today. There is clear they didn't come by foot, and travel over the Pacific Ocean is unlikely, so this is the most likely possibility. It’s also possible that humans came from Europe. The Clovis projectile point are almost identical with the projectile pointof the Solutré-hunters in France from 20,000 years ago. But there is nothing confirmed about the origin of the first Americans.
